Our story

Two families. One prescription for a better lawn.

Turf Rx was started by Taylor Silva and Mitchell Williams — two family men from East DFW who were tired of seeing neighbors get rushed service, rotating crews and call-center runaround from the big lawn companies.

They built Turf Rx on a simple idea: treat every yard like it's your own. That means owners in the field, honest recommendations, and a plan built for North Texas soil and heat. Every lawn we care for is a reflection of our name — and our families.

Taylor and Mitchell grew up working outside — mowing yards, hauling rock and learning that a job done right is the best advertisement there is. As they started families of their own, they noticed something: homeowners around Rockwall County were tired of big lawn companies that sent a different crew every visit and never picked up the phone.

So they built Turf Rx on the values they were raised on — show up on time, treat every yard like it's your own, and stand behind your work. What began as two friends with a truck and a spreader has grown into a trusted local team caring for lawns all across East DFW.

Every day they work for two families at home and for every family they serve. When you call Turf Rx, you talk to the owners — and they'll be the ones making sure your lawn is something you're proud of.

"Prescription for a better lawn — and a better experience."
